<p>Cardiff has just had a serious upgrade in the world of padel. Padium, London’s most high-profile padel club, has opened its second outpost in the capital, tapping into the nation&#8217;s growing love of the game.</p>



<p>The new 35,000 sq ft venue at Cardiff Bay Retail Park, which opened on Sat 14 Mar, features eight indoor courts, a players’ lounge, co-working space, kitchen, shop, and bar. There&#8217;s also two ice baths, exercise bikes and a sauna with a prime view over the courts. And if you&#8217;re in the mood to linger, there’s a DJ booth and a bar serving everything from smoothies to cocktails – perfect for cooling down, catching up, or celebrating that winning shot.</p>

<p>Opened just a week ago on <strong>Mon 9 Mar</strong>, The Angel Collective is a space designed to calm the nervous system, with soft pink tones running throughout the studio to create an instant sense of relaxation and safety (and yes, it&#8217;s pretty gorgeous to look at, too). The team offers a range of classes tailored to however clients are feeling that day, with each session known as an “edit.” From the sound edit (think immersive baths) to the power edit (hello abs and glutes), the recovery edit (deep, restorative yoga), and the spicy edit (an energetic, dance-based workout), there&#8217;s something to match every mood. </p>



<p>The concept is built around balancing both slow and fast-paced movement, recognising that we don’t always feel like doing the same type of exercise every day. It&#8217;s a particularly thoughtful approach for women, whose energy levels can shift across the four phases of the hormonal cycle. The Angel Collective also works closely with Women’s Aid, and is in the process of offering their clients free classes for life. In addition, £1 from every class booking is donated to the CIC.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.instagram.com/pilatesinclass/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pilates In Class</a> is a boutique, women-only studio offering reformer and hot pilates, with an existing location already established near Cardiff Docks. The brand brings a luxurious yet accessible approach to pilates, empowering women through expert instruction in a warm, welcoming environment.</p>



<p>The studio’s calming, minimalist interiors creates the perfect setting to switch off and reset, with the newest location officially opening on <strong>Sat 14 Mar</strong>. Beyond its regular classes, Pilates In Class also hosts a variety of community-focused events, from vision board workshops and fragrance-making sessions to guest speakers, LUSH workshops and plenty more designed to bring women together.</p>

<p>Wrexham&#8217;s winning streak shows no sign of slowing down. Set to open in summer 2026, <a href="https://www.wrexhamheritage.wales/footballmuseumwales/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Football Museum of Wales</a> is a major moment for the nation&#8217;s sporting story. And it couldn&#8217;t be better placed &#8211; just half a mile from Cae Ras, home of Wrexham AFC, and the Wynnstay Arms Hotel &#8211; where the Football Association of Wales was founded back in 1876.</p>



<p>Inside, it&#8217;s set to be as interactive as it is nostalgic. Highlights include Great Wales Goals, where you can watch (and vote for) your favourite strike, and The Timeline – a curated journey from 1876 to today, charting the highs, lows and everything in between for Wales’ national teams. And with Wrexham in the spotlight, thanks to its Hollywood-backed rise, you can&#8217;t help but wonder if Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively might make a surprise appearance?</p>

<p><a href="https://dylansrestaurant.co.uk/restaurant/locations/criccieth" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dylan’s</a> has been flying the flag for Welsh coastal dining since 2012, when it first opened on the banks of the Menai Strait. Since then, it&#8217;s grown into a family of five award-winning restaurants, serving up locally sourced produce and seafood in some of north Wales&#8217; prettiest spots, from Menai Bridge and Criccieth to Llandudno, Conwy, and Barmouth in North Wales.</p>



<p>Now, the much-loved brand is expanding once again, with the opening of its fourth general store in Criccieth. The building was snapped up in 2022, making this a long-awaited arrival for Dylan&#8217;s devotees. Inside, expect shelves brimming with fresh breads, sweet and savoury pastries, patisseries, hot drinks, pantry staples, homeware, gifts &#8211; all crafted by talented makers from across Wales. <p>After a visually delicious lead-up on social media, teasing what <a href="https://www.revaya.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Revaya</a> might be, it was revealed last week that Penarth is now home to a boutique dedicated to designer dress rental. Think contemporary looks for life’s big moments, from wedding guest outfits and milestone birthdays to engagement parties and holiday wardrobes.</p>

<p>Set to open later this March in Abergavenny, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DUySKinjGm0/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tŷ Fferm</a> is all about found, foraged, crafted and seasonal goods straight from the land, with a simple ethos: “from our family to yours.” Founded by former chefs Gaz Oakley and Teigan Davies, the couple share their passion for food and gardening with a growing audience on social media &#8211; and now they&#8217;re bringing it to life in store. The shop will be an extension of the family&#8217;s homestead, filled with beautifully handcrafted items, from ceramics, baskets and art to a small apothecary, antiques, kitchen and garden pieces. You&#8217;ll also find plenty of edible treats, drinks and produce sourced from nearby farms and their own land.</p>



<p>Housed in a Grade II listed building, the space champions local makers, with hand-painted signs and carefully chosen materials (no plastic in sight). It will also double as a community hub, hosting talks, events and workshops.</p>
