Nestled among the city centre’s most stylish eateries, it delivers a luxe dining vibe without the eye-watering price tag. With warm lighting, swish décor, and a vibe that&#8217;s works just as well for family dinners as it does for low-lit date nights. In short: your regular pizza night just got a very grown-up upgrade. Don&#8217;t miss the polpette with grana padano, and the posh pepperoni – topped with salame ventricina, fior di latte mozzarella and a drizzle of honey. Trust us. </p>

<p>Cardiff, rejoice. <a href="https://www.busbyandfox.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Busby &amp; Fox</a> has officially opened its first Welsh outpost – meaning Wales can finally stop borrowing style inspiration from across the Severn. The much-loved independent womenswear brand now has 11 boutiques nationwide, and its arrival in the capital is very good news indeed.</p>



<p>The brand is still small enough to genuinely care about how you feel in your clothes &#8211; yet big enough to design its own seriously sought-after collection, and already has a loyal following across Devon (the first store was in Totnes), Cornwall, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire. Now it&#8217;s the Welsh capital&#8217;s turn. </p>



<p>Founded by former florist Emma Vowles, who swapped London fashion life for something more grounded in Devon, Busby &amp; Fox’s DNA is all about relaxed, real-life style. Think natural fabrics, flattering cuts and quietly confident pieces you’ll wear on repeat, plus jewellery, accessories, and homewares to finish the look. Effortless, unfussy, and exactly what Cardiff wardrobes have been waiting for.</p>

<p>Brân has officially landed in Duke Street Arcade – a two-floor Belgian beer and board game bar inspired by the <em>Mabinogion</em> (that&#8217;s 11 medieval Welsh tales, casually). Expect around 100 beers, 300 games, epic hotdogs, waffles, frites and milkshakes…plus a private game room for serious (or gloriously silly) battles. Created by the folks behind The Dead Canary and Nighthawks, it’s playful, a little bit brilliant and an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves a few hours of laid-back fun.</p>

Bigger, better and gloriously sustainable, it&#8217;s packed with what can only be described as beautifully organised chaos, brimming with hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Think leather jackets, wool coats, and dazzling silk dresses, plus a sprinkling of treats from the likes of Maegen too &#8211; from tote bags to candles &#8211; making it a dream stop for stylish gifting (or a little something for yourself).</p>
