<p>For over 30 years, the Rosedew crew have been quietly building a Welsh food empire &#8211; all while keeping proper farming at the heart of it. Farmers Pantry Butchers launched in 2012 and has since gone gloriously wild, with three standalone shops, three franchises and an online <a href="https://www.farmerspantrychristmas.shop/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Christmas shop</a> poised to rescue your festive feast. Order for delivery (21st – 23rd Dec, 10am – 8.30pm) or pick up your goodies from Llantwit Major, Whitchurch, Penarth, Brackla, Pughs Radyr and Wenvoe, Pyle or St Mellons. Whole turkey for the masses? Tiny crown for two? Sausages, bacon, cranberry sauce?&nbsp;They’ve got you sorted.</p>

<p>Tom Pinder, founder of The Welsh Cheese Company, may just love cheese even more than we do. He launched the company to showcase the very best of Welsh cheesemaking, with selections handpicked from over 18 of the country&#8217;s finest artisan cheesemakers. From ancient coastal farmsteads to dairies tucked into the foothills of Snowdonia, Wales&#8217; rugged landscapes (and yes, all that rain) make prime cheesemaking territory. Alongside individual truckles and wedges for your Christmas table, you&#8217;ll find curated gift boxes, hampers and all the essential accompaniments at their shop in Taffs Well, or their deli and bar near Victoria Park in Cardiff. Did someone say camembert?</p>

<p>Two doors down from The Welsh Cheese Company near Victoria Park, you&#8217;ll find the perfectly pink Let Them See Cake –&nbsp;a shop that looks as though it&#8217;s been lifted straight from Marie Antoinette&#8217;s Versailles. Couple Gareth and Ryan are the creative force behind this buttercream palace, going from strength to strength with their hand-crafted, ultra-stylish cakes. They&#8217;ve even landed their own five part docu-series, <em>Hot Cakes</em>, on BBC One Wales and BBC3. So skip the Christmas baking and pass one of these beauties off as your own. We won&#8217;t tell. Choose from Christmas macarons, cupcakes, or a traditional chocolate yule log (also available in gluten free). Collection is available 22nd – 24th Dec from 10am.</p>

<p>Crwst started life in 2018 as a cosy café in Aberteifi, but it didn&#8217;t stay little for long. An offsite bakery in Cardigan soon followed, whipping up crowd pleasers like their torth y wlad sourdough and pillowy brioche doughnuts. Fans loved it all so much that Osian began bottling his creations – from award-winning honey butter to Barti Rum salted caramel &#8211; and Crwst jars have since landed on the shelves of Selfridges, spreading a little Welsh magic to a whole new audience. This Christmas, we&#8217;re particularly excited about their mulled wine and cider mixes, chai-spiced milk hot chocolate and Welsh sea salted caramel spread. Imagine that on your Boxing Day pancakes. <em>The mouth waters</em>.</p>

<p>Black Mountains Smokery has been perfecting oak smoked fish, meats, and cheeses in Crickhowell since 1996. Family-run and sustainably minded, their award-winning range &#8211; including Golden Fork-winning duck, is available online, making a taste of the Brecon Beacons easy to enjoy wherever you are. For your Christmas feast, check out their traditional oak roasted salmon, cooked and glazed ham, and Welsh Christmas puds. If you&#8217;re short on stocking fillers, add a just pop a few extras into your basket: Welshman&#8217;s caviar, local honeycomb or  Welsh billtong.</p>

<p>Welsh Lady Preserves has been whipping up handmade jams, chutneys, and spreads in Pwllheli since 1966. Now run by the second and third generations, every jar is still cooked in traditional copper-bottomed pans using carefully chosen ingredients. From apple curd with cinnamon all-butter to Champagne marmalade and golden mint jelly, there’s a flavour for every occasion – perfect for impressing visitors this Christmas (or simply treating yourself).</p>
