<p>Two miles to the south of Llandudno, with the majestic Snowdonia (around an hour away) and Conwy Castle in the background, Grade I listed Bodysgallen Hall, which is one of the three Historic House Hotels of the National Trust, gives any guest a delicious glimpse into high society life. The grand gardens are home to a rare 17th century parterre of box hedges, a walled rose garden and several follies. Frolic, anyone? Château Rhianfa is inspired by Lady Sarah’s romantic sketches of the Loire Valley.
