The UK’s no. 1 outdoor cinema shows are back in the capital, returning yet again to the majestic Cardiff Castle. Make an evening of it with a little pre-film forage through the city for your favourite snacks and drinks, then settle into your deckchair beneath the castle&#8217;s towering medieval walls as the big screen flickers into life.

From captivating live acts and showstopping themed performances, to a fantastic range of food and drink stalls to keep everyone happy before the evening even starts. Then, as the sun dips and the fairy lights begin to glow, settle in for a spectacular open-air screening under the stars.

Sea air, sunset skies and a feel-good film? Say less. The biggest crowd-pleasers here tend to be the musicals and singalong favourites – the kind of screenings where people can&#8217;t help but get up and bop along. If previous years are anything to go by, expect crowd-loving titles The Greatest Showman, Shrek, Tangled, Top Gun, Hocus Pocus and The Goonies.
